Melanie graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Music Performance before finding animal medicine. She's been working as a technician for 7 years, and has been at BPVH since August 2022. She is currently working her way through Purdue's Veterinary Nursing program. She is the ring leader of the Chaos Zoo: Desi, a 9-year-old heeler mix; Ravi, a 6-year-old boxer mix; Oscar the Trash Cat, and Major Charles Kevin Bradley Butters Bingley (aka Charles), a very orange cat. When not at work, Melanie enjoys reading, watching movies, going to concerts, hiking and kayaking, cheering on the Cards, and spending time with her partners.
