Dr. Taylor Rowland was raised in a tiny town in Western Illinois. She had many pets growing up, including horses, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, and a particularly friendly racoon. Dr. Rowland found her passion for small animal medicine working at veterinary offices while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Illinois College. Dr. Rowland attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2020. She spent her first three years practicing small animal emergency medicine in Kansas City while her husband finished Dental School. Dr. Rowland is excited to return to the general practice medicine she fell in love with, and to provide routine wellness and preventative care. Dr. Rowland’s professional interests include nutrition, behavior, and client education. When not at work, Dr. Rowland can be found spending time with her husband, Evan, and their veritable zoo of animals. They love to spend time outside and try new restaurants. Dr. Rowland has 2 dachshunds, 2 cats, a crested gecko, and a ball python. She is looking forward to taking care of you and your furry friends!
